The Instagram tool is what an AgentFlow calls to reply on Instagram — DMs, comments, and everything in between.
What it can do
- Send Direct Message — plain-text replies in DM.
- Send Image Message — images up to 8MB, video or audio up to 25MB.
- Reply to Comment — a public response under a post.
- Send Private Reply — a one-time DM to someone who commented, within a 7-day window (the mechanism behind comment-to-DM automation).
- Hide Comment / Delete Comment — moderate without leaving the flow.
- Read-only lookups are always on — profile info, media comments, and media details are available to every flow with no extra toggle.
Good to know
Requires a Business or Creator Instagram account — personal accounts aren't supported by Meta's messaging API.
